The Amazon Women takes a close look at new and intriguing feminine characters. The four Amazon figures represent the never ending search that flows between the boundaries and levels of dark versos light, strong versos tender, feminine versos masculine. Each on its own and all together stretch the "classic" definition of femininity and challenge the viewer. 

I chose to use several techniques in creating this series combining gold and silkscreen printing, assorted textures, colors and compositions that portray the contrast and unity that can be seen with in each one of the characters on its own and in the series as a whole.
